About Lisa Lerner

Long ago, Lisa Lerner was a professional rubber stamp cutter, children’s party entertainer, and NYC performance artist. Since then, she has been writing children’s stories for educational publishers such as Scholastic and McGraw Hill. She is also the author of JUST LIKE BEAUTY (a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, in development with Lars Von Trier as a movie). Lisa teaches workshops to kids of all ages privately and through The Writers Grotto in San Francisco.
